Darts in hand
- With three darts: treble 19, double 16.
- With two darts: treble 19, double 16.
- With one dart only doubles and the bull finish, and 89 is not one of them.
If the first dart misses
Hit the single 19 instead of treble 19 and you are left on 70. That has no finish with the darts you have left, so use the next dart to set up: treble 10 leaves double 20.
The finishing double
The route finishes on double 16. If that dart catches the single instead, the double halves cleanly: double 8, double 4, double 2, double 1. That is why even doubles are the favourite finishes.
Other ways out
These routes add up too. Players pick between them by the trebles they trust and the double they like to finish on.
- T17 D19treble 17, double 19
- T13 BULLtreble 13, bull (50)
- T18 19 D8treble 18, single 19, double 8
