Darts in hand
- With three darts: treble 15, double 20.
- With two darts: treble 15, double 20.
- With one dart only doubles and the bull finish, and 85 is not one of them.
If the first dart misses
Hit the single 15 instead of treble 15 and you are left on 70. That has no finish with the darts you have left, so use the next dart to set up: treble 10 leaves double 20.
The finishing double
The route finishes on double 20. If that dart catches the single instead, the double halves cleanly: double 10, double 5. That is why even doubles are the favourite finishes.
