Darts in hand
- With three darts: treble 17, double 8.
- With two darts: treble 17, double 8.
- With one dart only doubles and the bull finish, and 67 is not one of them.
If the first dart misses
Hit the single 17 instead of treble 17 and you are left on 50, which still goes out with 1 dart: bull (50).
The finishing double
The route finishes on double 8. If that dart catches the single instead, the double halves cleanly: double 4, double 2, double 1. That is why even doubles are the favourite finishes.
Other ways out
These routes add up too. Players pick between them by the trebles they trust and the double they like to finish on.
- T9 D20treble 9, double 20
- T19 D5treble 19, double 5
- T13 D14treble 13, double 14
