Darts in hand
- With three darts: treble 18, double 4.
- With two darts: treble 18, double 4.
- With one dart only doubles and the bull finish, and 62 is not one of them.
If the first dart misses
Hit the single 18 instead of treble 18 and you are left on 44. That has no finish with the darts you have left, so use the next dart to set up: single 4 leaves double 20.
The finishing double
The route finishes on double 4. If that dart catches the single instead, the double halves cleanly: double 2, double 1. That is why even doubles are the favourite finishes.
Other ways out
These routes add up too. Players pick between them by the trebles they trust and the double they like to finish on.

- T14 D10treble 14, double 10
- D11 D20double 11, double 20
