Darts in hand
- With three darts: treble 20, treble 19, double 19.
- With two darts 155 cannot be finished — the most you can check out in two is 110.
- With one dart only doubles and the bull finish, and 155 is not one of them.
If the first dart misses
Hit the single 20 instead of treble 20 and you are left on 135, which you cannot finish this turn; score sensibly and come back to a double next turn.
The finishing double
The route finishes on double 19. An odd double does not halve: a single leaves an odd number that needs a single and a double, so it costs at least one extra dart.
Other ways out
These routes add up too. Players pick between them by the trebles they trust and the double they like to finish on.
- T18 T17 BULLtreble 18, treble 17, bull (50)
- T19 T16 BULLtreble 19, treble 16, bull (50)
- T20 T15 BULLtreble 20, treble 15, bull (50)
