Darts in hand
- With three darts: treble 20, treble 17, double 8.
- With two darts 127 cannot be finished — the most you can check out in two is 110.
- With one dart only doubles and the bull finish, and 127 is not one of them.
If the first dart misses
Hit the single 20 instead of treble 20 and you are left on 107, which still goes out with 2 darts: treble 19, bull (50).
The finishing double
The route finishes on double 8. If that dart catches the single instead, the double halves cleanly: double 4, double 2, double 1. That is why even doubles are the favourite finishes.
Other ways out
These routes add up too. Players pick between them by the trebles they trust and the double they like to finish on.
- T19 T18 D8treble 19, treble 18, double 8
- T17 T12 D20treble 17, treble 12, double 20
- T18 T11 D20treble 18, treble 11, double 20
