Darts in hand
- With three darts: treble 17, single 17, double 20.
- With two darts 108 cannot be finished from here.
- With one dart only doubles and the bull finish, and 108 is not one of them.
If the first dart misses
Hit the single 17 instead of treble 17 and you are left on 91, which still goes out with 2 darts: treble 17, double 20.
The finishing double
The route finishes on double 20. If that dart catches the single instead, the double halves cleanly: double 10, double 5. That is why even doubles are the favourite finishes.
Other ways out
These routes add up too. Players pick between them by the trebles they trust and the double they like to finish on.
- T18 14 D20treble 18, single 14, double 20
- T19 11 D20treble 19, single 11, double 20
- T20 8 D20treble 20, single 8, double 20
