Darts in hand
- With three darts: treble 17, single 15, double 20.
- With two darts 106 cannot be finished from here.
- With one dart only doubles and the bull finish, and 106 is not one of them.
If the first dart misses
Hit the single 17 instead of treble 17 and you are left on 89, which still goes out with 2 darts: treble 19, double 16.
The finishing double
The route finishes on double 20. If that dart catches the single instead, the double halves cleanly: double 10, double 5. That is why even doubles are the favourite finishes.
Other ways out
These routes add up too. Players pick between them by the trebles they trust and the double they like to finish on.
- T18 12 D20treble 18, single 12, double 20
- T19 9 D20treble 19, single 9, double 20
- T18 20 D16treble 18, single 20, double 16
